Product Recall.
Dear Customers ,
An update on progress following on from our product recall of milk delivered on the 5 and 6th June and also butter batch no50. We have had a week off production the plant has had a deep clean it has been pulled apart looking for any tiny point of failure.
The pasteuriser has been checked over by an engineer and passed no fault found. We have taken the opportunity to make some changes that have been on the list for a while but the plant is always busy so lack the opportunity to get them done.
We have also updated some policy's and practices to make things run even more smoothly. Now the anxious wait the new samples are in at the lab and we will here by Monday morning. We are not starting delivering until we have the pass certificate in our inbox. That makes the Hadston and Morpeth rounds on Tuesday 16th the first time we will be back out. We can't wait to get going again. Thank you all for your understanding and support is has been much appreciated.

the farm
At Hauxley Farm we pride our selves on providing the best products and service
Currently we have solar panels installed on 2 roofs powering up to 45kwh to help power the farm using renewable energy. Along side that we also use full electric vans on our milk round deliveries to reduce our carbon footprint.
To further increase our solar energy production we are currently looking to install more solar panels along with batteries to decrease our reliance on power from the grid.
Our milking parlour consists of 2 automated Lely milking robots, this helps reduce the human interaction with the cows and allows the cows to be milked at their own pleasure.
We have built a shed to house 3 vending machines where you can now buy fresh Milk, Cream, Milkshakes, Salted butter,Free Range Eggs and Cheesecakes. Accepted payment is card or cash.
At the moment unsalted butter is only available on the rounds or by pre-order. Please email hauxleyfarmdairy@gmail.com if you would like to order unsalted butter.
